Not rubbing salt, Freija just discussing the news. I don't think the country needs another flashpoint, is this in response to actionable intelligence?

Looks like this will directly affect 1.3 to 1.4 million applicants a year, and thier families, which is not ideal , but logistically it makes sense apply in your home country's American consulate.

This administration makes moves as if it has no concerns for the midterms or 2028. You just don't see that historically

The only reason I see for this is to draw out the Democrats and show that they support illegals, but that's been pretty obvious from day one. Or maybe he just wants to look tough on immigration. It's hard to tell with Trump.

They're uncovering lots of old visa violations that happened before Green Card Apps were applied for. In the past, those violations have been routinely ignored even though it's illegal!! What goes around comes around. Illegal is just as Illegal even when you get away with it. If somebody is clean, there's no problem.

The problem, though Trump has people who blindly hate him, too.

Yes, because lately it seems like the candidates for both parties are just getting worse and worse. Somehow though people are still voting for it and feeling good about their votes. We should be voting based on who will be best for the country, not for who's going to be the least bad.
