We have set this private section up initially for testing with future ideas planned for restricted access forums. The bar for entry into this section is low, just six posts. In theory, after you’ve made your six posts in other forums, the system should automatically open this section up for your comments. It processes user promotions every 20 minutes.

Nothing in this section is particularly special

The temporarily hidden forums are:

• Rants & Complaints – Things that push your buttons
• Personal or sensitive topics
• Member Editorials, Opinions and manifestos
• Discussions about other sites

We may add forums to this group or move others into it by demand. We may also increase the number of posts needed for access to private sections or create additional private sections with higher limits or additional criteria as time goes on? (think R.A.T.S.) There are also several "ladders" we could use such as reaction points or trophy score so these features may be added or changed over time.
