I've managed to just take it easy the last few days and have caught up on a couple movies.
Movie#1
Enola Holmes 3 streaming on Netflix
I was entertained. If you liked the first two Enola Holmes movies, you will like this one. Starring as Enola's brother, Sherlock, Henry Cavill is an actor I've really liked since he was Superman and Millie Bobby Brown in the title role as Enola put in a fine performance as usual. Thinking back to her earlier roles as Eleven on Stranger Things, she's grown up to be an attractive young woman.
The mystery was well played out with twists, turns and revelations along the way. I wouldn't call this movie groundbreaking or a cinematic masterpiece but it was enjoyable nevertheless.
The whole romance, wedding and happy ending I could have done without but understand the appeal of those aspects to some. As a period piece, the costumes and settings were superb and I enjoyed the moments of whimsy, humor and the frequent breaking of the 3rd wall narrative elements.
If you haven't seen the first two in the series, it is easy to pick up on this one as your first but if you do like this 3rd installment, I'm guessing you'll go looking for the first two?

Project Hail Mary streaming on Prime Video
I've heard a lot about this movie, the buzz was hard to ignore and since space sci-fi is probably my favorite genre, I had to give it a go in spite of its 2 hour and 36 minute runtime. I had seen enough clips to fear the alien character, Rocky, was going to be corny and while it was to some degree, I was okay with it. As with most sci-fi, suspension of disbelief is needed but I'm pretty good at that. The backstory of how Ryan Gosling's character, Grace, ended up on the mission I liked and I enjoyed the whole story for the most part. If you like this sort of thing, you will probably like this movie?
The basic plot involves something is killing ours and neighboring suns so a mission devised to send a ship to a distant uninfected star to figure out why. Along the way we encounter an alien on the same mission to save their planet and the two forces team up to save the day.
There were what I though a few plot holes and inconsistencies and no real science but again, I just glossed over them for the sake of the story. There's a few emotional moments I slightly choked up a bit on and enjoyed although I though they were a bit manipulative and predictable. One of my measures of space science fiction movies is the quality of the ship sets and I thought they looked good and the tech believable without some mid-air hand waving on an invisible screen that's been the de facto control method in so many of these movies.
Apparently, the earth was saved but I have to admit I didn't understand exactly what happened in the last part of the movie. I either need to give it time to digest or view one of those explanation videos on YouTube?
