Yes, I know with the exception of maybe a certain Aussie bloke, nobody cares or is interested but when your rabid fandom overwhelms common sense, what can you do but make a post about it on the internet.

It's not a sport - it is a condition​

At the halfway point in the season, the MotoGP championship is still up for grabs and things are starting to get interesting. With the championship leader receiving a 1 race ban for slapping a marshall at the last round in Czechia, contenders have begun to close. In this weekend's round, the championship leader finished 4th in the Saturday sprint race and suffered a massive high speed crash during Sunday's GP at the historic Netherlands track, Assen.

Top moments from the Sunday GP. Championship leader Marco Bezzecchi's (Bez) ragdoll crash through the gravel at 200 kph is in the first minute. Race winner, Ai Ogura was the first Japanese rider to win in 22 years.

The boys have next week off then it's back to business at the Sachsenring in Germany. I'll be watching!

After a week off, the boys are back with the last race before the 3 week summer break at the Sachsenring in Germany.

The Saturday sprint was rather uneventful but the "King of the Ring", Marc Marquez lived up to his reputation with a win and a new lap record. His younger brother Alex took second with Fabio Di Giannantonio rounding out the podium for an all Ducati lockout.

Early championship leader, a battered and bruised Marco Bezzecchi, who suffered a horrible crash at the previous round crashed again in qualifying sending his bike and body barrel rolling through the gravel. Unfortunately he suffered a broken collarbone and was rushed off for emergency surgery so will miss yet another race but is expected to be back in three weeks time.

Sprint highlights - it was a bit of a snoozer

Looking forward to the GPs that start at 2:00 am my time with the Moto3 class, the Moto 2 class at 3:15 and the big show starting at 5:00.

It's amazing how Ducati came to dominate this sport.

I wonder how Marc would take his brother Alex winning over him but as brothers I guess they are proud of each other.

Those bikes look pretty fine and the colour schemes suit the race aspect. Very impressed these days and they're fast.
