On occasions when going outside the top room of my house, generally about 3am to 4am when I just have to 'go'. I see a moving bright light to the NW or north.

I live in the hills on the far north coast of New South Wales, Australia.

On a clear night I can see for miles but I'm never prepared to get a capture of this sighting as when I gotta go, I gotta go and the light only appears as I said occasionally. It is bigger and brighter as a star. Appears pretty low on the horizon. Changes direction several times then just shrinks and blinks out.

Not a drone, too large. Definately not a aircraft as there is no consistent track, no noise, no blinking lights. And from my sightings it must be large as it is distinctly oval and above the higher hills which are quite a distance away.

One night I may go out with the phone and get a pic.

Regards,

Bally,

That's cool. I never get to see stuff like that but then again, I'm in a suburb of the 5th largest city here in the U.S. with a fair amount of light pollution. It's really not hard to get out in the desert or hills where it's dark but that's probably not the best thing to be doing alone?

One of the neatest things I've seen and got a photo of from my backyard is the launch of a SpaceX rocket from California.

Hope one of these days you can get a picture. The truth is out there! :D

A launch sighting, well there's something I've never seen. See lots of sats. A few weird ones but the sighting I refer to here is nothing like a sat.
