Interesting but I am not convinced. The brain does weird things during NDEs.

My guess is little Jeremy grew up surrounded by Christian iconography, stories of heaven and Jesus and that his mother/parents were religiously devout.

If Jeremy's environment had been Hindu, Muslim, Jewish, etc., I can pretty much guarantee he wouldn't have seen Jesus.

My mother, who was as non-religious as I am, had her own NDE she recounted to me in great detail. Jesus, god, Krishna et al weren't involved.

If Jeremy and his family found comfort in his experience, then more power to them. I have no problem with that at all but to suggest this is some kind of universal experience simply doesn't sit that well with me.

@Freija Its okay, opinions are just different perspectives .

I’ve heard many near death stories and they don’t all come true. UFO’s, well, I’m on the fence about those, Good or Evil ? I believe tricksters would be better, such as hide and seek.

I always find these NDEs most interesting with 9-12 yr old's. Wish he hadn't died so we could hear directly from him.

Aliens are demons? I don't believe in aliens are here or have visited here from another world. What I do believe is some of these "aliens" are actually bad humans that manifest aliens or demons within human consciousness that become their prey. While others especially today manifest whatever their darkside mind wishes to conjure. I attribute much of this to a sick society. If I had young kids today we all would have packed out bags back in 2020 and be living off-grid or near off-grid somewhere remote. No internet, no phones, no TV. Yes, I know there is drawbacks to that mainly for the kids and parents sanity, but in this current age where you get relentlessly attacked just for being different is not a society to raise kids in my opinion.

I'm with Freija on this one as I just cannot buy into or believe this is a universal experience. I've listened to other kids of that same age range who describe their NDE and religion did enter the chat. In some kids yes, sure, but not all. Though I don't take any issue who bring religion into it if that helps & empowers family & friends cope & continue life. I think the power of the mind goes well beyond what most think & comprehend and I include myself in that as well.

I swear I watched a Christian movie a year or so ago that had this same NDE description.
I did find it interesting and almost wanted to believe in it. I think it was on that Youtube Christian movie channel.

Describing a figure in a white robe with long hair or a lady in red wearing a white robe archetype goes back to time immemorial and not just in Christian culture.

The problem is that any individual account of "God" regardless of age, comes from the experience that is specific to the end user (of the body). There can be no definitive proof for it's always going to be anecdotal even if you have a witness or more, it will still be someone elses story after the fact.
A logical thinker will not find "God" listening/reading to other folks experiences, some so and thats a miracle in itself yet appears as stupidity to another. Experiences are all we have as a base point when looking outward.

Those that enjoy fellowship/testimony are (I think) folks that have experienced similar things and already believe/seek enjoyment in sharing the experiences with one another which the video category falls into I think

Anecdotal/personal account
I have experienced death twice in my life so far, first by drowning and the other from a throat bleed.
Currently on the 3rd trial. I dont expect to survive, and if that is the case im at peace with it/vice versa, got the answers I wanted, even the ones I didnt realise I needed but when you try and convey... its word salad time

Having a family that wants you to survive and thrive as their corner stone, as opposed to fighting to prove yourself worthy of a small shred of love from a bunch of cold hearts...
Never had that before, and it is hurting like hell having unconditional love reciprocated when this body seems to be dying.... is a new kind of beautiful yet bittersweet torture...

The biggest (current aside) and by far the most humbling lesson learned in this "prison/life" so far (for me)... taking full/absolute responsibility for self and actions, not just in what you do or how you conduct yourself towards others, but how you choose to respond to those that hurt to the core mentally and/or trespass on deeply held boundaries you might never have realised you had till violated beyond the point of acceptance.
