Info Post Thread Button vs. Quick Thread

When you go to a forum to create a new thread, you have two options​

  1. At the top of all posts in a thread, you see the prompt to enter a thread title and can then begin writing your post
    1. This is a Quick Thread
  2. You will also see a Post Thread button

What's the difference?​

A quick thread does not show the options at the bottom
In order to see these options, it takes an extra step to click the More Options button​

The Post Thread button automatically shows the options at the bottom

Those options are:
  • Tags
  • Watch This Thread
    • And Receive Email Notifications
