I'm not sure if I post this the right place, but I really feel sorry for this lady.

Her problems clearly started in childhood, she didn't get the help she needed as a child.

When a child is taught their boundaries don't matter, predators recognize that wound instantly, so please teach children that their voice has weight.

Without two hours to spend, I skipped through and watched about 20 minutes.

Her life and situation seems pretty grim. Without diminishing her trauma, same can be said of many people's lives. It is somewhat of a sad and harsh reality that not everyone is fortunate, loved and in a place of well-being. Often times, as much as we would want to, there isn't much we can do when people are struggling to keep their own shit together.

Sometimes, compassionate sympathy is all we have to offer.

Your uncertainty of where this thread should be was palpable and I wasn't sure either so I created a new forum for topics of this nature called "The Dark Underbelly of Culture and Society".

I don't much care for the section it is in, Esoteric and Anomalous Topics, but True Crime and Punishment is in that section and it doesn't really fit the best there either so that's where this new forum will be for now.

Her story is sad, but it sounds like she's not letting it define her and is trying to speak out to make a difference. Nothing but respect for her. That said it is said that the world is such a dark shitty place where children feel unloved and victims of crimes are not believed.
